‘Who is going to run for who’ - Mikel Obi tells Amorim what to do with Casemiro and Eriksen
Manchester United have struggled to get hit the ground running this season despite changing their manager in the first half of the season.
Despite the arrival of Amorim, the Red Devils have still not gotten their rhythm and finished the year in 14th place on the table.
They lost their last game of the year, losing 2-0 at Old Trafford to Newcastle, three places below relegation.
Mikel Obi advises Amorim
Mikel has revealed his frustration at seeing Amorim paring Eriksen and Casemiro in midfield in the Premier League.
Speaking on his Obi One Podcast, Obi said, "There's no way and I hope this never happens again. That you see Casemiro and Eriksen play in the midfield for Manchester United.
"Who is going to run for who? If you're a 30-something-year-old player, you need a young player beside you who can compensate because you don't have the legs to run anymore."
"You need that young player, fresh legs, energic, who can be able to cover those grounds for you. You have those two, who is going to run for who?. So for me it is a massive mistake, it's awful to watch.
"Listen, brilliant players, I have talked about it, we have said it, Casemiro fantastic player, he's played for Real Madrid, he's won so much, he's been an absolutely fantastic servant of football. He's done everything.

"When your legs are gone, your legs are gone, there's nothing else you can do. If your legs are gone, especially in the Premier League, you will get found out."
Mikel's comments will probably contribute to the expanding discussion on how Amorim might improve United's season, while the criticism comes as Manchester United is having trouble staying consistent this year.
