‘We were criticised for this choice’ - Osimhen’s agent happy with striker's good start at Galatasaray

Osimhen, whose supposed transfer to Chelsea had fallen through, joined Galatasaray earlier in September.

The loan move to Galatasaray was an alternative option after being dissatisfied with his circumstances at Napoli.

Galatasaray supporters welcomed Osimhen with much love; a large crowd had gathered to welcome him.

Osimhen's representative, Calenda, has expressed his happiness with how quickly his client has adapted to life in Turkey.

According to reports from Sporx, Calenda said, “We are aware of how right a choice we made. 

“We were criticised for this choice, but I see that Victor is very happy and feels good at Galatasaray. 

“He tells me that Galatasaray is a very big club. Seeing him this happy again gave me hope.” 

Osimhen has performed as expected, contributing four assists across three games for Galatasaray this season.

The Lions are yet to drop any points this season despite the Super Eagles striker’s goal drought.

Osimhen will be looking to end his goal drought when Galatasaray faces Keneth Omeruo’s Kasimpasa this weekend.
