Brentford 1- 3 Arsenal
Facing a Brentford side with a formidable home record, Arsenal knew a win was crucial. However, they got off to a rocky start when Bryan Mbeumo scored for the Bees in the 13th minute with their first attack of the game.
Despite this early setback, Arsenal remained composed, and Gabriel Jesus, continuing his return to form, levelled the score before halftime.
After the break, Arsenal came out with renewed intensity. Mikel Merino's goal, following a Brentford defensive error from a corner, put Arsenal in the lead just five minutes into the second half.
Shortly thereafter, Gabriel Martinelli's expertly executed volley extended their advantage, giving Arsenal firm control of the match.
