We are happy to have Iwobi — Fulham boss Marco Silva

Carlos Vinicius came off the bench to give Fulham a well-deserved victory over Luton Town to make it 7 points from their first 5 games.

Marco Silva praised the performance and gave special mention to the new players who arrived at the end of the window.

"First-half, we lacked something dynamic to be honest to create chances. Second-half, some improvements, more dynamic and the two changes made a huge impact in the game." 

Silva was particularly pleased with Alex Iwobi. 

He added: "Nice to see Timothy Castagne and also Alex Iwobi come in and get his first minutes. 

"He is going to improve for sure, the way we play is going to make them better players for sure. We're really happy to have them."
