Andre Onana continues to excel in Turkey with Trabzonspor, assisting Paul Onuachu's equaliser to ensure the Burgundy-Blues were not beaten at home by Gaziantep. 

The Cameroonian showed his shot-stopping abilities in his Trabzonspor debut against Fenerbahce. Today, he displayed the ball-playing part of his game, playing Onuachu through on goal for the Nigerian's third goal of the season. 

Gaziantep struck first, with Kevin Rodrigues finding the back of the net in the 39th minute through an Alexandru Maxim assist, which put Trabzonspor on the back foot. 

Trabzonspor were the superior team in the match and, despite their best efforts, could not beat Mustafa Burak Bozan. Not until the 70th minute, when Onana saw space and launched that long ball into Onuachu.

As always, tall Paul showed poise. He timed his run, took the chance when it came, and finished calmly for his third goal of the campaign. 

After the goal, Gaziantep pressed to regain the lead, with Trabzonspor defending in numbers. Trabzonspor also had chances to push ahead, but Gaziantep’s defence held firm, denying clear second goals.
