Video: Generous Victor Boniface shows kindness as he transfers money to fans

A few days ago, the Bayer Leverkusen star played a part in Nigeria’s 1-1 draw against Benin Republic on Thursday.

The striker came in as a substitute in the second half before Osimhen got the equaliser for the Super Eagles.

The draw meant that the Super Eagles of Nigeria secured qualification to the 2025 AFCON tournament in Morocco.

Following the Super Eagles' departure to Uyo, fans were seen flocking around the team bus and hailing the players.

In a video posted by Adepoju Tobi Samuel on X, Boniface was seen communicating with a fan from the window of the team bus.

The striker was seen copying some details from a fan’s phone as the surrounding crowd hails him.

Some of the fans in the crowd were heard saying Boniface was sending money and after signalling to them that he had made the transfer, the fans erupted with cheers.

Meanwhile, Boniface will be looking to start for the Super Eagles when they face Rwanda in Uyo on Monday.

The striker has only scored one goal since making his debut and will be looking to end his goal drought for the national team.
