Victor Osimhen: Napoli set Monday deadline for Galatasaray to finalise deal for Super Eagles star

Italian giants Napoli have issued a firm deadline to Galatasaray over the permanent transfer of Victor Osimhen, giving the Turkish champions until next Monday to complete all necessary paperwork.

According to Football Italia, both clubs have already agreed on key aspects of the deal, including the anti-Serie A clause and future percentage rights.

However, the final paperwork has yet to be finalised, prompting Napoli to draw a line in the sand.

After a record-breaking loan spell in Istanbul last season, where Osimhen scored 37 goals and provided 8 assists in 41 appearances, Galatasaray have been relentless in their bid to secure the Nigerian striker permanently.

Despite at least four rejected offers, a breakthrough has been made, with a total package of €75 million agreed with €40 million upfront, and €35 million in instalments to be paid by June 2026.

The deal, once completed, will become Galatasaray's most expensive signing ever and one of the biggest transfers in Turkish football history.

The 25-year-old Nigerian is now reportedly keen to stay in Istanbul permanently, with both personal terms and salary understood to have been agreed since June.
