It is well-known that the Bavarians are actively seeking reinforcements for their attack due to a lack of depth. According to Bayern's management, via Sportal, the German champions are only looking for loan deals, not permanent transfers.

World champions Chelsea, in turn, are looking to offload the 24-year-old Senegalese forward, who is now surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge.

Of course, this does not guarantee the deal will go through, as it remains unclear whether Chelsea will agree to a loan-only arrangement for their striker, who has been described as needed by club legend Mikel Obi.

It remains to be seen if an understanding can be reached between the clubs and what the parameters of a potential transfer would be.

Clubs such as Newcastle and Aston Villa have also shown serious interest in Jackson. The Senegalese international joined the London side from Villarreal for £32 million in 2023 but failed to establish himself as a regular starter.

The forward scored 13 goals and provided 6 assists in 37 appearances for Chelsea last season. He started brightly for the London club but was later hit by a goal drought and also missed several matches due to injury.

Interestingly, Bayern have also reached an agreement with another of Chelsea's unwanted players, Christopher Nkunku. However, the English club's reluctance to agree to a simple loan deal has stalled that transfer for now.
