The details

According to a report from Foot Mercato, the Saudi outfit are lining up a bid for the 25-year-old winger who has been transfer-listed by Manchester United.

The Faris Najd have reached an agreement to sign Joao Felix from Chelsea, a move signalling their intention to compete for the SPL and AFC Champions League next season.

They will not be stopping there, however, according to the report, as they have also identified the Brazilian talent as a suitable addition to their ranks.

The Betis option

The 25-year-old Brazil international spent the last six months on loan in Andalusia, where he thrived, scoring nine goals and providing five assists, which helped them to the Conference League final and a top-six finish.

He was shipped off by Manchester United after two and a half years of failing to justify his €95 million price tag as an effort to see him recover some of his value before being sold off.

Antony showed his quality at Betis, and the Heliopolitans now want him to stay at the club; however, they have trouble meeting Manchester United’s €40 million demands.
