Transfer news- Fenerbahce struggling to agree fee for Lookman as Atletico Madrid jump in to snatch transfer
Lookman's future has been a hot topic across Europe, with top clubs looking to sign him before January transfer closes.
The Super Eagles star has been a target for Fenerbahce and they have started direct talks with Atalanta in Italy to discuss a deal.
Spanish giants Atlético Madrid are also considering making a move for the winger and are hoping they can struck a deal with Atalanta.

Romano reported earlier that the Istanbul-based club are determined to land the Nigerian international, with high-level negotiations currently underway in Italy.
However, both parties are yet to reach an agreement for the transfer fee of the Super Eagles star.
According to Fabrizio on X, “Atalanta are yet to agree on the payment terms and conditions offered by Fenerbahçe for Ademola Lookman.
“Verbal agreement on €40m package but not yet on payment terms/conditions. Atlético Madrid have been calling in last hours to ask for deal conditions.”

It has also been reported that Atlético Madrid have made several calls to Atalanta as they look to snatch the deal from Fenerbahçe.
Atalanta are still holding out on agreeing a deal but Fenerbahce are working hard to finalize the signing, staying in close contact with all parties as the deadline nears.
