“Fenerbahce are really trying to make it happen,” Romano added, emphasizing the club's serious intent.

“You will remember that last summer Inter and Bayern Munich tried, with some Italian and English clubs also keen, but Atalanta eventually decided to keep Ademola Lookman.”

“Negotiations are ongoing with both the player and Atalanta, who are not closing the door to this possibility,” he noted.

“The success of the transfer appears to hinge on Fenerbahce meeting Atalanta's financial demands and securing an agreement on personal terms with Lookman.

“Atalanta could consider this option if Fenerbahce reach an agreement with the player and submit a good financial offer, so talks are ongoing,” Romano concluded.

As the deadline approaches, Fenerbahce remain in close contact with all parties, signaling their strong desire to finalize the signing.
