Super Eagles head coach Éric Sékou Chelle has released his finalized roster of 23 players for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches against Rwanda and Zimbabwe.
Tolu Arokodare is one of the new names on the team joining forces with veterans such as William Ekong, Alex Iwobi, Wilfred Ndidi, Ademola Lookman, Victor Osimhen, and Simon Moses.

With a few games left in the season, the Genk striker, who leads the Belgian Jupiler Pro League in goals scored, made the list.
This season, the striker has been in scorching form for Genk, leading the Belgian scoring chart with 18 goals.
Arokodare took to his official social media platforms to celebrate making the team list.
On X, he quoted the team list with a prayer emoji.
On Instagram however, he referenced a previous post about, "Our year of celebration and breakthrough."
Nigeria will play Rwanda, the top of group C, in Kigali on Friday, March 21.
Four days later, they will play Zimbabwe's Warriors at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.
