They too much: Unknown Ebuka Izundu joins Osimhen to lead Nigerian scoring feast for Galatasaray

Nigerian basketball star Ebuka Izundu has joined forces with Super Eagles sensation Victor Osimhen to lead Galatasaray's sports teams to remarkable success. 

Izundu's recent performance for the Lions has drawn comparisons to Osimhen, particularly after a standout display in the Basketball Champions League.

In a thrilling match against St. Quentin Basket-Ball, the Galatasaray Basketball team defeated their visitors with an impressive score of 84-63. 

The team dominated the game, trailing for only 26 seconds, thanks in large part to Izundu's contributions. 

The 28-year-old centre scored 17 points, grabbed five rebounds, and provided one assist off the bench, showing his skills as an important player for the Lions.

On the football side, Osimhen, who has quickly become a fan favourite since joining Galatasaray on loan from Napoli, has also been making waves for the Lions. 

In just 12 matches, the 26-year-old striker has netted 10 goals and assisted three more in the Super Lig, in addition to three goals and one assist in four Europa League appearances.

The excitement surrounding both athletes was highlighted by the Basketball Champions League's social media account, which celebrated their achievements with a post on X, formerly Twitter. 

“Victor Osimhen Ebuka Izundu Nigerians scoring for Galatasaray.” They further emphasised their impact with the comment, “They too much,” accompanied by a fire emoji and a Nigerian flag.
