They play the best football — Fabio Capello makes bold EURO 2024 prediction

As far as legends go, very few managers can hold a torch to the legendary Italian manager Fabio Capello.

The 77-year-old has coached the best teams in the world, ranging from AC Milan, to Roma, Juventus, Real Madrid and the England national team.

With EURO 2024 dominating the airwaves this summer, Capello has weighed in on potential winners, insisting France have what it takes to be champions.

Speaking to Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand, Capello said 'I think France can win because they play the best football.

"They are strong and [have the right] mentality."

France began their campaign with a 1-0 win over Austria, but will reportedly navigate the rest of the group phase without star man Kylian Mbappe, who suffered a nose injury during the game.
