Despite Manchester City's recent 0-0 draw with Arsenal, former Newcastle striker Alan Shearer has still labeled them as the favorites to clinch the Premier League title.
The match resulted in City falling three points behind leaders Liverpool in the standings.
With only nine fixtures remaining in the season, Liverpool have a 2-point lead at the summit.
Shearer believes Man City will win Premier League
Guardiola's men will take on Aston Villa on Wednesday night at the Etihad, a team that handed them their last defeat in November last year, and despite recent shaky performances, Shearer believes they are still favourites.
“At the moment it is advantage Liverpool, and Arsenal are not going away, but, with nine games to go, I still see Manchester City as favourites for the Premier League title.
“That feeling is not based on how City are playing right now, though,” Shearer told BBC Sport.
He added: “And, while their rivals might be in better form, City have the experience to know that the draw with Arsenal was not a disaster."
