‘The people don't want us to win’ - Rodri claims referees' bias is hindering their EPL title challenge
The Spanish international voiced his frustration following City's 2-2 draw with Tottenham, a result that leaves them six points adrift of league leaders Arsenal.
Rodri was incensed that Dominic Solanke's opening goal was allowed to stand despite a challenge on Marc Guehi in the build-up.
After a lengthy VAR review for a potential foul and offside, the goal was given, leaving Rodri to question the impartiality of the officiating.
Rodri complains about referee decisions
Speaking after the game, Rodri was displeased with the decision made by the referee during the game against Spurs.
"He's kicked the leg—it's so clear," Rodri stated. "He anticipated Marc and it's a clear foul. But it's not today, it's two or three games in a row and I honestly don't know why."

"I know we won too much and the people don't want us to win but the referee has to be neutral. For me, it's not fair. It's not fair."
Rodri's comments echoed the sentiments of his manager, Pep Guardiola, who also believes his team has been on the receiving end of inconsistent refereeing.
The draw in North London marked City's fifth winless game in their last six Premier League outings.
City will be looking to bounce back from their disappointing run of games when they travel to face last season's Premier League winner, Liverpool.
