Theo Walcott has suggested that certain fixtures could derail Liverpool's title hopes this season.
The Reds drew 2-2 with Manchester United last Sunday to fall to second in the standings on goal difference and were perhaps lucky to come away with a point after a late Mohamed Salah penalty.
Jurgen Klopp's men are embroiled in a three-horse race with Arsenal, and Manchester City, with just one point separating all three teams.
Liverpool play Atalanta in the UEFA Europa League quarterfinal, before a brutal run of 4 away games in the league.
Walcott predicts Premier League title struggle for Liverpool
Walcott believes the Reds will struggle to navigate those games, especially when they go to Goodison Park to play Everton.
“One thing about Liverpool is they have four away games after facing Atlanta [in the second leg of their Europa League quarter-final] – it could be their downfall.
“Four away games is not nice. Other things can affect you such as being away from home.
“Liverpool will also not like going to Goodison Park,” Walcott said on BBC Radio 5 Live.
