The Cottagers have been impressive in the Premier League this season, and Iwobi has been one of their standout stars.

The 28-year-old has been deployed centrally or wide right by Marco Silva this campaign, and he has been immense regardless of where he is fielded. 

He work rate and five goals scored (second most on the team) have been immense, but it is his playmaking that has indeed placed him a cut above the rest.

Speaking on his The Rest is Football podcast, which he hosts along with fellow retired stars, Micah Richards and Alan Shearer, Lineker, a Leicester City and Barcelona legend, acknowledged the Nigerian's season so far. stars

“Iwobi has had a terrific season,” Lineker said. “He’s a bit of a journeyman around the Premier League.”

The Super Eagles ace is playing in his third club in the division. Should he keep up his current form, he could soon make it four, as top clubs are attentive to his showing.
