Taiwo Awoniyi: Nottingham Forest star returns to full training, in line to face Arsenal
Nottingham Forest key man Taiwo Awoniyi is in line for a return to action when the club welcomes Arsenal to City Ground for a crucial Premier League clash on Tuesday evening.
Awniyi began the season in flying form, registering 4 goals and 2 assists in his first 9 games, helping to steer Forest clear of the drop zone.
However, concerns about his fitness persisted as he consistently grappled with discomfort. Regrettably, the situation reached a critical point in November, leading to a necessary surgery.
This injury not only sidelined him for the Africa Cup of Nations but also forced him to miss Nottingham Forest's last twelve games.
