Super Eagles: Watch Terem Moffi score for OGC Nice in 3-2 win against Sheffield United

OGC Nice secured a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Sheffield United in a pre-season friendly played on Wednesday, July 30, 2025.

Super Eagles of Nigeria star Terem Moffi led the charge for the French Ligue 1 side.

Moffi showcased his goal-scoring prowess by finding the net in Nice's triumph at the Allianz Riviera.

The 26-year-old, who notched 10 goals in the Ligue 1 Uber Eats campaign last season has continued his fine form since joining Nice.

Nice a first division side from France were expected to win against English Championship side Sheffield United.

The game began with Sheffield United taking an early lead when Tyrese Campbell put them in front in the 29th minute.

However, Morgan Sanson equalized for Nice in the 44th minute as both sides went into the halftime break level.

The second half saw Terem Moffi strike in the 68th minute to put Nice in front.

Sheffield United pulled one back later, but an own goal by Harrison Burrows sealed a 3-2 win for Nice.

The victory comes after another notable pre-season result, as Cristiano Ronaldo inspired Al-Nassr to beat French side Toulouse.

Moffi is expected to return to action when Nice takes on Benfica in a Champions League qualification game.
