Nottingham Forest win thanks to special Aina goal
Without a win in their last six games, the Tricky Trees were desperate to end their poor run of form against one of the Premier League big wigs, and got their just rewards for a superb performance, beating Aston Villa at the City Fairs’ Ground.
Goals from Aina and Orel Mangala earned all three points for Nottingham Forest, while Harry Toffolo was also impressive, assisting both goals for the home side.

Aina superb for Nottingham Forest
Aina outshined fellow Super Eagles regular Taiwo Awoniyi, who was unable to get on the scoresheet, in an unusually quiet performance for the striker.
The win was Nottingham Forest’s third of the season after 11 matches but it also sees them move ahead of summer spenders Chelsea, although the Blues are yet to play this Gameweek.
It was Aina’s first goal in eight games for Nottingham Forest since joining the Premier League side in the summer from Torino on a free transfer, and fans of the Tricky Trees will hope that he can replicate this performance more often.
