During a recent event in Nigeria organised by the Bundesliga and Bayern Munich, Nigerian football legend Jay-Jay Okocha was asked about the future of Victor Osimhen, whose next move remains one of the hottest topics in football circles.

Osimhen, 26, enjoyed a brilliant loan spell at Galatasaray after his time at Napoli, and speculation about his next club continues to grow.

In an honest video shared on X (formerly Twitter), Okocha gave a thoughtful response that balanced respect for the striker’s independence with the hopes of Nigerian fans.

“We as his fans, we love to have the opportunity to be watching him week in, week out. So, wherever he decides to go, we’ll still love him. But we would love to be seeing him week in, week out.”

But when pressed to name a preferred club for Osimhen’s next chapter after Napoli and Galatasaray, Okocha kept his answer diplomatic and lighthearted.
