Super Eagles: Frank Onyeka grateful to President Tinubu for MON award
Super Eagles of Nigeria midfielder Frank Onyeka is back on the social media trends.
The Brentford midfielder played a crucial role as the engine room for the Super Eagles at the recently concluded Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Cote d'Ivoire.

The Super Eagles team received the Member of the Order of the Niger (MON) national honor from President Bola Tinubu for their outstanding performance at the just-ended AFCON competition in Ivory Coast.
After receiving the recognition, Onyeka took to social media to appreciate the president for the gesture.
Along with photos was a message that said, "Who could’ve imagined a boy from Benin’s streets would receive the MON honor? Grateful to the President for this recognition.
"Huge thanks to our coaches, teammates, and especially our supporters who made this journey unforgettable. We’ll be back stronger!"
Onyeka is now expected to return to Brentford as they contend in the Premier League.
