During the clip posted on Fulham’s Instagram, Bassey humorously accused Iwobi of never striking the ball with a full-laced shot.

“Alex, sidefoot specialist,” Bassey said with a grin. “He’s never laced a ball. All he knows is sidefoot. He’s taken over 100 shots this season — he’s laced it once.”

Iwobi, never one to shy away from a challenge, responded with a smile: “Next season, I’ll show that I have the capacity to lace some shots.”
