Super Eagles and Fulham star Alex Iwobi was left stunned by a viral video showing a young Nigerian striker’s sensational volley, praising the player’s “great technique” and tipping him as a future Victor Osimhen.

The Fulham midfielder watched the clip on Instagram featuring former Beyond Limits Football Academy youngster Kparobo Arierhi, who scored the stunning goal before his recent move to Norway’s Lillestrom SK.

A Rising Star with Osimhen’s Spark

Iwobi, 28, was not only amazed but impressed enough to declare the 18-year-old as serious competition for Nigeria’s current African Player of the Year. 

Reacting to the goal, Iwobi said, “That’s great technique. That finish, it’s not easy. That’s great, great technique.”

He added with enthusiasm, “I’m sure he didn’t even look at the goal, that’s a great technique - that’s a great finish. I mean, it’s gonna be competition for Osimhen at this rate. But yeah, he’s good.”

The Super Eagles midfielder didn’t stop there, offering a personal message to the promising striker:

A shocked Alex Iwobi.

“Yo Kparobo, just seen some of your clips, some of your finishes, keep going. Keep going, man, you’ve got great technique, great composure as a number 9. So, maybe you could be the next Osimhen or even better.”

Kparobo Arierhi’s rise from Beyond Limits FA to Norway’s top flight is already turning heads, and with endorsements like Iwobi’s, Nigerian football fans have every reason to be excited about the future of this young striker.
