Rudiger strengthens Boniface bromance with signed Real Madrid jersey gift
Real Madrid defender, Antonio Rudiger, and Nigeria’s Victor Boniface have taken their off-field bromance to another level after the German star gifted the strike a jersey.

Rudiger and Boniface
The gesture from the former Chelsea defender is the latest in what has become an interesting friendship between the pair.
You will recall that Pulse Sports reported that Rudiger paid homage to Nigeria's Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface after he copied his now-famous goal celebration.
The incident which happened after Rudiger helped Germany survive Mexico in an international friendly, saw both players show respect to each other on their Instagram pages.
Rudiger, who joined Real Madrid from Chelsea as a free agent, went on to celebrate his lovely goal by mimicking Nigeria’s Victor Boniface’s funny celebration.
It was a moment that transcended the competitive nature of sports and emphasised the spirit of unity and camaraderie that football can foster.
Rudiger’s gift
Over four weeks after that beautiful exchange between them, the 30-year-old has now taken another step to strengthen their relationship.
Per a post by Pooja Media on X.com, Boniface took to his page to reveal the gift, a signed Real Madrid jersey from the LALIGA star.
“To my lil brother, Victor Boniface,” Rudiger wrote on the kit. “All the best in the future, more hustle, more goals,” he added.
The Bayer Leverkusen star was gracious in his acceptance as he responded with a show of appreciation; “Thanks, a lot, big bro.”
Boniface was in action at the weekend as Bayer Leverkusen took another positive step in the race for the Bundesliga title following another brilliant outing.
Leverkusen thrashed their hosts Werder Bremen 3-0 with Nigeria’s Boniface, who failed to add to his seven goals, on the pitch for more than an hour.
