Ronaldo breaks silence on Al-Nassr future
Cristiano Ronaldo has reaffirmed his commitment to Al-Nassr, dismissing speculation about his future after a short spell away from action in the Saudi Pro League.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner, renowned for his time at Manchester United and Real Madrid, had reportedly missed two league fixtures, sparking rumours that his absence was linked to dissatisfaction over transfer dealings.
The Portuguese captain returned in style, leading his side against Al Fateh and scoring in a 2-0 victory. He followed that up with a brace in a commanding 4-0 win over Al Hazem.
What Ronaldo said
Speaking in an interview with Thmanyah, Ronaldo made his feelings clear.
The 41-year-old emphasised that his focus remains on delivering success for the club rather than entertaining speculation.
“I am very happy to be here, I have said that many times. I feel like I belong in Saudi Arabia,” he said.
He continued, “The country has received me, my family and my friends in a very good way. I feel comfortable here and want to continue here.
“The most important thing is that we continue to push in the fight for the league title.
“We are at the top and doing our job by winning matches and putting pressure on the competitors. Then we will see how it ends when the season is over.”
