Revealed! Tickets to Lionel Messi's first Inter Miami game could cost as much as ₦‎85m

A chance of a lifetime to watch Lionel Messi make his Inter Miami debut in the Leagues Cup is set to cost a pretty penny.

According to a report by CNN, some prices to see the world's biggest football star have skyrocketed to as much as $110,000(N85m), which is one of the most expensive tickets ever recorded in American sports history.

However, there are still cheaper options available for Friday’s game, with the average price for a ticket currently selling at around $500. 

The report adds that some fans are traveling nearly 700 miles to see Messi make his debut against Mexican team Cruz Azul.

In an unveiling event Sunday, Messi said he’s “very excited” to be in Miami. “I come here with the same desire to compete, desire to win, and help the club to continue to grow."
