Chelsea are reportedly set to make a summer move for Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi.
According to reports, the Blues believe they are in pole position to sign the Eagles defender.
Blues manager Enzo Maresca is keen to bolster his defensive options ahead of next season, and Guehi has emerged as a top target.
The 24-year-old came through Chelsea's youth ranks before joining Crystal Palace in 2021, and the Blues are hopeful that his emotional attachment to the club will give them an edge in the transfer race.
Guehi's contract situation means Crystal Palace may be forced to sell this summer as he enters the final 12 months of his contract at Selhurst Park.

According to sources, Chelsea are confident that Guehi will be tempted by the chance to return to his former club, and they are optimistic about securing a deal. The fact that Guehi can be included in Chelsea's homegrown quota is also seen as a major plus.
The defender, who has become a key player for England, has played a key role in Crystal Palace's FA Cup semi-final run, and will undoubtedly be an excellent addition to Maresca's side.
