'Stop Moaning' - Reactions as fans single out Sancho and Bruno Fernandes moment in Man United win against Aston Villa
Manchester United recorded a crucial 1-0 win against Aston Villa in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon, April 30, 2023.
The Red Devils sought to continue their quest to secure a top-four finish at the end of the season in what would certainly guarantee them a return to Champions League football.
However, Erik ten Hag's men needed to pass a stern test against Unai Emery's high-flying Villa side who had won six of their last seven games in the Premier League.
The hosts managed to get the win though, as Bruno Fernandes converted from a rebound in the 39th minute after Emiliano Martinez saved an initial effort from Marcus Rashford.
The result leaves Manchester United fourth on the summit as Newcastle crushed Southampton 3-1 on matchday 34 as well.
The Red Devils are now 9 points clear of fifth-placed Tottenham and Aston Villa who are currently sixth and level on points with the Lilywhites on the summit, and a point ahead of seventh-placed Liverpool.
Social Media Reactions: Manchester United 1-0 Aston Villa
Following the victory for Manchester United against Aston Villa, fans have taken to social media to react to a particular moment in the match involving two key players - Jadon Sancho and the goalscorer Bruno Fernandes.
In the 16th minute of Sunday's match at Old Trafford, Jadon Sancho attempted to beat Villa midfielder Leander Dendoncker in the final third.
However, the 23-year-old forward was dispossessed, with the ball going out for a throw-in much to the frustration of the team's captain Bruno Fernandes.
Fernandes could be seen with his arms raised after Sancho lost possession, leading the former Borussia Dortmund winger to respond to his gesture.

Sancho tells Bruno to stop moaning instead of giving a 38 years old Ashley Young a game. It’s always the English players!!!
