Popular Nigerian artist names the only African side that can stop England’s World Cup hopes

England recently began negotiations with former Bayern Munich manager Thomas Tuchel for the Three Lions head coach position.

The German has agreed on a deal with the England FA and has been announced as the new head coach of the Three Lions.

Tuchel is expected to coach the England team throughout their World Cup qualifiers and qualify them for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The rapper has boldly stated on his X account that he believes Nigeria can defeat Tuchel's Three Lions in the 2026 World Cup, making them the only squad capable of doing so.

Odumodublvck wrote, “When Tuchel takes over for England, the only team that will be able to stop them from winning that World Cup is the Super Eagles.”

The Nigerian artist was confident in his comment about the Super Eagles of Nigeria stopping England.

Tuchel is set to take over from interim coach Lee Carsely, with his deal running from January 2025 until July 2026.

The former Chelsea manager has a reputable record, having won the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, and FIFA Club World Cup.

With Tuchel leading the team, England will be looking to be a serious contender for the World Cup in 2026.
