Popular Artist Iyanii Set to Perform at Kasarani Stadium Ahead of Harambee Stars' Clash With Seychelles

Kenyan music sensation Iyanii is set to electrify fans at Kasarani Stadium on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, ahead of the Harambee Stars’ crucial World Cup qualifier against Seychelles. 

The performance is part of the Football Kenya Federation’s (FKF) efforts to boost fan engagement and create a vibrant matchday experience.

The Harambee Stars enter this fixture determined to amend their previous result against Gambia at the same venue, which resulted in a 3-1 loss to the hosts, effectively dashing their 2026 World Cup hopes.

 To build excitement and energize the crowd, FKF has announced that Iyanii will perform live at the stadium before kickoff at 4:00 PM. Known for his dynamic stage presence and chart-topping hits, 

Iyanii, the hitmaker behind bangers like Pombe and Dojo Maber,  is expected to set an electrifying atmosphere that complements the anticipation of the match.

In an effort to make the game accessible to as many fans as possible, FKF has reduced ticket prices by 50%, with Gold tickets now Ksh 500, down from the original Ksh 1,000. Tickets can be purchased through the official FKF ticket portal or via USSD 51955#.

Importantly, FKF has ensured that Persons with Disabilities (PWDS) can also attend comfortably. Designated seating is available in Sections 5 and 13, which are equipped with ramps, while car access for PWDS is through Gates 6 and 12. Additionally, VIP and VVIP lifts are accessible, allowing PWDS to enjoy the match alongside other fans.

FKF hopes that the combination of live entertainment, affordable tickets, and inclusive access will fill Kasarani Stadium with passionate supporters, providing the Harambee Stars with an energetic home advantage.

Stars beat Seychelles 5-0 under Engin Firat during the first leg fixture played in Ivory Cost in November 2023 and will be hoping to complete the double as they set out on finishing as high up the league as possible.
