AS Monaco announced the signing of French midfield maestro Paul Pogba on Saturday, June 28, 2025.
Pogba joins the French Ligue 1 side on a two-year contract that will keep him with the Ligue 1 side until June 30, 2027.
This transfer marks a return for Pogba to competitive football following a challenging 21-month suspension due to a drug violation.

The ban was reduced from four years to 18 months by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in August 2024.
His last competitive appearance was a brief 29-minute cameo for Juventus in September 2023.
The 32-year-old midfielder rose to prominence with Juventus, where he won four Serie A titles between 2012 and 2016.

He then rose to global superstardom before moving to Manchester United for a then-world-record £89 million fee in 2016.
His six-year stint at United included an FA Cup and Europa League triumph before returning to Juventus as a free agent in 2022.
Following the elapse of his suspension, Pogba was rumored to join Major League Soccer (MLS) clubs, with particular interest expressed in moves to Inter Miami, LA Galaxy or Atlanta United.
Pogba is expected to work his way back to the France squad ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
