The 25-year-old striker found the back of the net in the 45th minute, capping off an impressive first-half display in Casablanca that sent the Falcons cruising toward their opening win in Group B.

Babajide’s goal was a moment of individual brilliance, as she timed her run perfectly to meet a cross from Jennifer Echegini and slotted it past the Tunisian goalkeeper with composure.

The England-born forward, who previously represented England at youth level before switching allegiance to Nigeria, has now fully announced herself on the African stage with a performance that blended pace, power, and finishing finesse.
