Osimhen will make you forget Icardi — Expert says Super Eagles ace is better than the whole Super Lig

Adnan Aybaba is the latest Turkish sports personality to sing the praises of Victor Osimhen, touting the Super Eagles striker as being a cut above the rest of the Super Lig. 

The 26-year-old joined Galatasaray this summer and has been sensational for the club. He has 12 goals and four assists in 15 games, setting the Cim-Bom up for a defence of their league title.

Aybaba is a sports commentator in Turkey. Speaking on a TV program, he said the following about Victor Osimhen:

“Osimhen is a very different guy above our league. He always excels in aerial balls, duels and runs. He also has an athletic structure. He has directly contributed to the 9-10 points Galatasaray has received in the league this season."

He sent ahead to compare the Nigerian to his teammate Mauro Icardi, who was Galatasaray's talisman in their league triumph last season. 

"Don't get me wrong, Galatasaray fans, but this guy will make you forget Icardi. Sure, Icardi won hearts and made the kids Galatasaray fans, but there are also realities to this.”

“Osimhen is 26 years old, Icardi is 31 years old, there is a 5-year age difference between them. This is not a small thing. How many more years will Icardi play?"
