The Monaco back line cut the service to him and matched his physicality, limiting him to no shots on target, blocking three of his shots and keeping him offside twice.

Victor Osimhen was caged for 90 minutes.

What Sinan said

The Turkish football expert suggested that the Monaco side were of superior quality and that they found it easy playing through Galatasaray.

“In football, talent is important, but strength is also crucial,” he said, per GsGazette. “The Monaco players easily bypassed the midfield.

“Galatasaray players have a serious fitness problem. With back-to-back match schedules, the same players are under strain and get tired. They can't handle this process.

"Galatasaray could have made it 2-0 in their favour in the first half, but Monaco could have won 4-2 or 5-2 in the second half. The defenders were one-dimensional.

“They neutralised Osimhen, and his teammates couldn't do anything. Sane and Barış kept cutting back, but it didn't work. There was no one in midfield to take the ball and run forward. While we were talking about Galatasaray getting 15-16 points, it saddened us that they are now stuck at 9 points."
