Osimhen ends Serie A campaign as a sub, finishes as Napoli's top scorer

SSC Napoli have ended the 2021/2022 Serie A season on A after an emphatic 3-0 victory at Spezia.

Nigeria's Victor Osimhen was just a second half substitute in the comprehensive win which cemented third position for the club.

Osimhen played the final 22 minutes with his club comfortably in control of proceedings against Spezia with a 3-0 lead.

Napoli's scorers were Matteo Politano, who latched on to a pass from Senegal's defender Kalidou Koulibaly to put the side from Naples ahead as early as the fourth minute.

Piotr Zielinski doubled their advantage five minutes from the half hour mark before Diego Demme wrapped up the win with the third goal nine minutes from the break.
