The damage was done in a frantic first half, with Jayden Bogle and Noah Okafor scoring twice in four minutes to leave Forest reeling. Dominic Calvert-Lewin effectively ended the contest early in the second half, chesting home a cross to make it 3–0.
Although Forest debutant Lorenzo Lucca headed a consolation goal in the 86th minute from an Omari Hutchinson cross, it was far too little, too late.
The result leaves Forest and Leeds level on 26 points, just six points above the relegation zone. With West Ham playing tomorrow, Aina and his teammates now face an increasingly tense battle to maintain their top-flight status.

This was Aina's 100-th Premier League appearance, and his seventh since returning from injury. While he was one of Forest's better players, he was unable to inspire the Tricky Tees to a clean sheet.
Taiwo Awoniyi, who was on target in the 2-0 win over Brentford, was an unused substitute as Igor Jesus lead the line.
