The Umuahia-based club will travel to the Lekan Salami Stadium for a Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) matchday nine fixture.

They enter the contest with momentum, following a 2-0 victory at home against El-Kanemi Warriors last weekend, and will be looking to strengthen their position in the league standings.

What Amapakabo said

Speaking to the club's media, Amapakabo emphasised the need for his team to continue progressing, reflecting on their recent continental campaign.

"I think most importantly, we accepted the fact that we failed on the continent, but we are not failures," he stated.

He added, "We can only be tagged a failure if by May, when the league ends, we are not able to get back to where we were last season."

Amapakabo viewed their first-ever continental competition as a valuable lesson.

"There were a lot of things that we didn’t do right, and it was a big learning experience. We’ve taken it under our belt, we’ve learnt our lessons, and we want to get back there, believing that this team can really get better."
