While Ola Aina boasted of a clean sheet, Tolu Arokodare had little to smile about as Nottingham Forest and Wolves played out a 0-0 draw in the Premier League.

Aina made six defensive contributions, won eight of the 10 duels he was involved in and even managed to fire off two shots, while Arokodare could only boast of one shot all game as both sides shared the spoils.

Nottingham Forest vs Wolves: How it happened

Nottingham Forest dominated a one-sided first half but were left frustrated by poor finishing. Callum Hudson-Odoi fired narrowly wide early on, while Morgan Gibbs-White missed a clear chance against his former club, heading wide from close range.

January signing Lorenzo Lucca, handed his first Premier League start, also wasted a big opportunity before later seeing a goal ruled out for offside. Despite registering 16 shots before the break, Forest failed to score.

The pattern continued after half-time, with Hudson-Odoi and Neco Williams going close but unable to beat José Sá. As Forest’s profligacy persisted, Wolves grew in belief and nearly snatched the lead when Mateus Mané forced Stefan Ortega into a sharp save. Sá then produced a stunning double stop to deny Igor Jesus and Morato from point-blank range.

In the end, Wolves’ resilience and Sá’s heroics ensured the match finished goalless. The result leaves Forest just three points above the relegation zone, while Wolves, though still struggling, extended their unbeaten away head-to-head run against Forest to 10 matches.
