Boniface's influence was felt early in the match when he unselfishly assisted Martin Terrier for the opening goal. Despite an initial VAR review ruling it out, the goal was eventually awarded.

The Nigerian striker then added two goals of his own, demonstrating his brilliance and clinical finishing.
