Nikola Jokic bags 6th straight triple-double as Nuggets come back to beat Pelicans
After three quarters in which it appeared the away team would sleepwalk their way to defeat, the Denver Nuggets managed to overcome the New Orleans Pelicans 132-129 in overtime.
They fell behind by double digits going into the fourth quarter, but they picked up the pace and exploited some critical errors made by the Pelicans to win.
In order to lead Denver with their play in the closing minutes and win, Jokic finished with a triple double of 27 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists, while Jamal Murray also finished with 27 points.

Julian Strawther had a crucial 13 points off the bench, including some outstanding plays in the final minutes of the fourth quarter, and Russell Westbrook contributed 21 points.
Jordan Hawkins scored 25 points and CJ McCollum scored 24 points, the two Pelicans players with 20 points or more.
After a rather dismal first half, the Denver Nuggets came back to defeat the New Orleans Pelicans in the Big Easy in a highly unlikely manner.
Denver appeared listless for a spell, with Jokic scoring just six points in the first half. However, a surge in the fourth quarter gave the Nuggets fresh life.
When things got rough, Jokic demonstrated to rookie Yves Missi precisely what he was capable of.
The Nuggets forced a miss to force overtime after Jamal Murray tied the score with a clutch shot at the end of the fourth quarter.
