Little known Nigerian Akor Adams nets brace for Montpellier in Ligue 1 debut
Nigerian forward Akor Adams and his new club Montpellier were denied all three points in their Ligue 1 opener.
Montpellier were held at home by Le Havre following an impressive four-goal thriller at Stade de la Mosson-Mondial on Sunday.
The home side came from behind before they were forced to a share of the spoils after a 2-2 draw.

The 23-year-old is a new arrival at the Ligue 1 after he swapped Norway for France.
Montpellier announced the signing of the former Flying Eagles star from Norwegian side Lillestrom for a fee of four million euros.
He caught the eyes of the French side after a remarkable 2022/2023 campaign that saw him net 17 goals in 18 matches.
Akor announces arrival in style
Just a week after he joined the club, the young Nigeria forward has now announced himself in Ligue 1 in style.
Akor was in superb shape as Montpellier came from behind to earn a share of the spoils.
After a goalless start to the game which saw the visitors lead 1-0 at the break, it was the Nigerian who turned things around for the hosts.
His two goals in two second-half minutes saw Montpellier turn things around to lead 2-1 on the hour mark.
However, Le Havre stole one point thanks to a late goal from Samuel Grandir.
