The lineup features two changes from the squad that recorded an emphatic 4-0 victory over the Benin Republic last month, as Chelle looks to maintain momentum in Nigeria’s quest for World Cup qualification.

Stanley Nwabali of Chippa United retains his spot between the posts after a series of composed performances in recent fixtures.

In defence, Bright Osayi-Samuel and Zaidu Sanusi will operate as full-backs, providing width and defensive stability. At the heart of the defence, Calvin Bassey partners with young sensation Benjamin Fredrick, who continues to impress with his calmness and ball-handling skills.

The midfield pairing of Wilfred Ndidi and Alex Iwobi will anchor the team, offering a blend of strength and creativity.

Ahead of them, Atalanta’s Ademola Lookman returns to the starting lineup after serving a one-match suspension, joining Samuel Chukwueze on the wings to provide attacking flair.
