The Nigerian team is expected to depart for Cairo on Wednesday, December 10, where they will settle into camp and begin their final phase of preparation.
As part of their build-up, the three-time African champions will take on the Pharaohs of Egypt in a prestigious international friendly. The match is scheduled for Sunday, December 14, at the Cairo International Stadium.
The fixture is expected to provide an important test for the Super Eagles, allowing Chelle to assess team chemistry, tactical shape, and individual player readiness.
Beyond the Egypt-friendly, the NFF has revealed that additional tune-up matches are being arranged to ensure the squad hits peak form before the tournament kicks off.
