‘Nigeria all day’ - Super Eagles star Wilfred Ndidi gives verdict on Jollof rice debate
The Jollof rice debate has been a major conversation between Nigerians and Ghanians for some years now, with many celebrities having to give their own verdict on the topic.
Ndidi, who recently helped Leicester City secured a return to the English Premier League next season was also asked which jollof rice is the best.
Ndidi was not the only Nigerian who helped Leicester City claim the Championship title. Super Eagles striker Kelechi Iheanacho also played major part in the teams triumph
Ndidi’s decision on Jollof rice
Ndidi's Ghanaian teammate Issahaku Fatawu encouraged him to try out and review the well-known Ghanaian jollof during their joyful occasions.
According to Brilla, a recent social media video showed Ndidi sampling Ghanaian jollof rice, and Fatawu insisted, “Try am, you go like am”.
Despite acknowledging the Ghanaian dish's deliciousness, the football player's decision chose Nigerian jollof, affirming its superiority.
Ndidi replied to Fatawu, saying, “Taste good, to be honest, but Nigeria all day, everyday.”
Ndidi is enjoying his last moments with his friends and teammates at Leceister City before moving away in the summer according to reports.
Newcastle United and Everton Aston Villa are two Premier League teams showing interest in the 27-year-old midfield player.
When the transfer window opens, Spanish powerhouse FC Barcelona has also stated that they would like to sign the master midfielder.
