Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson is reportedly eager to remain at Stamford Bridge, despite ongoing rumours linking him with a move away from the Premier League club this summer.

According to reports from The Chelsea Chronicle, intermediaries have been exploring interest in the 24-year-old Senegal international, sparking speculation over his future.

Nicolas Jackson was Chelsea's primary striker under Enzo Maresca in 2024-25

However, the club is not actively pushing for his departure, leaving the door open for Jackson to continue his career in west London.

Jackson, who joined Chelsea in 2023, enjoyed a strong start to the 2024/25 campaign, netting four goals in his first five Premier League appearances. But the forward struggled with consistency in the latter half of the season, including two red cards, one in a league match against Newcastle United and another during the Club World Cup.

What Jackson said

Despite the dip in form, Jackson is reportedly confident he can turn things around. Speaking via football journalist Rahman Osman, the player believes next season could see him return to top form.

“Chelsea will be losing two years of good investment if they sell Nicolas Jackson this summer. Two years of bringing him up to speed and then all of a sudden changing direction? Jackson wants to stay as he believes he’ll rediscover his best form again next season,” Osman shared.

Chelsea’s transfer strategy under new management has remained fluid, with several forwards linked with summer moves.
