New suitors emerge for Osimhen as European Champions consider key role

Victor Osimhen's future is once again the subject of intense speculation, as European giants Paris Saint-Germain appear to have reignited interest in signing a traditional centre-forward.

Despite previously stepping away, PSG are reportedly reconsidering their stance as they weigh up major changes to their attacking lineup this summer.

Paris Saint-Germain’s recent Champions League triumph hasn’t curbed their hunger for dominance, and with several attacking players heading for the exit door, the Ligue 1 champions are preparing for a busy summer.

With Marco Asensio and Randal Kolo Muani reportedly on their way out and Gonçalo Ramos potentially up for sale, PSG find themselves in urgent need of a reliable forward.

Luis Enrique has previously shown a reluctance to sign a traditional No.9, favouring a more fluid attack centred around the likes of Ousmane Dembele. However, the limitations of that approach may now be prompting a rethink.

Sporting director Luís Campos has long been a fan of Osimhen and could once again push the Nigerian's name forward.

Osimhen, who scored a jaw-dropping 37 goals in 41 appearances for Galatasaray this season, could offer the firepower PSG need to maintain their supremacy in Europe.

His €75 million release clause makes him a tempting proposition, especially as top-tier options in that price range grow scarce.

Even if PSG hesitate, Osimhen is unlikely to lack options. Manchester United, long-term admirers of the Nigerian forward, are in dire need of a world-class No. 9, while Arsenal, Chelsea, and Juventus have also been linked, eager to bolster their frontline ahead of the new campaign.

While Galatasaray fans remain hopeful of keeping their record-breaking striker, even pundits have admitted that Osimhen's talent belongs on a bigger stage.
