Europa League finalists AS Roma have reportedly been linked with Leicester City duo Kelechi Iheanacho and Patson Daka.
The Nigerian striker finished last season strongly, winning the Leicester City Player of the Season award, while Patson Daka has struggled to be the Jamie Vardy replacement he was billed to become when signed from Salzburg in the summer of 2021.
What happened
According to Roma Press, the Giallorossi general manager Tiago Pinto travelled to London earlier today on transfer business, and a meeting with the Foxes for their African strikers is said to be on his agenda.
Iheanacho (26) and Daka (24) are reportedly angling for a move away from the Midlands club following their relegation to the Championship.
Roma are said to have made initial contacts regarding the duo's availability; however, nothing has been decided yet as they are still evaluating a number of profiles in their bid to strengthen their squad.
The former Italy international was full of praise of what the Portuguese gaffer has achieved for the club in recent years.
Roma won their first European title in the maiden edition of the Europa Conference League then made it to the finals of the Europa League in two years.
