Mourinho receives reduced suspension after appealing four-match ban
Galatasaray accused Mourinho of racism after the derby due to his comments about the Galatasaray bench "jumping like monkeys."
The Portuguese also stated that the match was better because it wasn't officiated by a Turkish referee.
Following his comment, he was issued a four-match suspension and also fined by the Turkish FA.
Mourinho gets reduced ban
The Turkish Football Federation reduced Mourinho's four-match suspension by half after getting his appeal successful, as reported by the Daily Mail.
Mourinho's four-match suspension was reduced to two matches and his fine was reduced from 1.6 million Turkish lira (£35,000) to 558,000 Turkish lira (£12,200).
The former Chelsea boss will miss Fenerbahçe’s next two games in the Turkish League as they continue their title chase.
They are currently in second place in the league table, six points behind the league leaders Galatasaray.
Meanwhile, Fenerbahce will also play their next two matches without away support, while Galatasaray's next home match will be played without a section of fans due to 'bad and ugly chanting'.
